About Cesar Ito
Cesar Ito, a Brazilian who now calls St. Simons Island home, began taking photographs at an early age. Inspiration for his works comes from his love of nature and his desire to capture with his camera nature's beauty and to share it with others.
A self-taught artist, he has won numerous local awards for his photographs. His most requested photo is the St. Simons Island Lighthouse in the Moonlight, taken the night of a Lunar Eclipse, September 26, 1996. He continues to learn and apply new techniques in his photographic portraits of the landscape and wildlife of the Golden Isles.
